| Uses | 1-Bromo-2-chloroethane was used in regio- and diastereoselective synthesis of 2-alkylidenetetrahydrofurans. 1-Bromo-2-chloroethane is used as a solvent and as an intermediate for organic synthesis. It is used as a as fumigant. |
