Chemical properties Colorless liquid. Soluble in ethanol, ether, insoluble in water. Use as a polymer monomer, used in the production of modified organic glass, transparent film, the manufacture of paper, fabric, leather and other finishing agents, glazing agent, used as a coating solvent for the synthesis of plastics and organic compounds for the preparation of polymer or copolymer monomer. It is used for the modification of plexiglass, and can be used as finishing agent, emulsifier, polish agent and deodorant for paper, leather and textiles.
