3、 Performance: It is a light yellow to amber oily liquid or paste at room temperature. Slightly bitter, soluble in water, ethanol, ethyl acetate, and toluene, insoluble in mineral oil and vegetable oil. It has properties such as emulsification, wetting, and foaming, and is an O/W type emulsifier with an HLB value of 14.9.

Tween 60 is a non ionic surfactant used as an emulsifier, defoamer, lubricant, detergent, antistatic agent, etc.

Chemical properties: 

Tween 60 is a yellow waxy solid, soluble in water, sulfuric acid, and dilute alkali, with an HLB value of 9.6. It has dispersibility in the presence of certain salts.

Application:

Tween 60 can be used as an emulsifier, dispersant, stabilizer, dispersant, softener, anti-static agent, and rust inhibitor. The finishing agent is used in the production of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, paint pigments, textiles, food, pesticides, detergents, and metal surface rust cleaning industries. It is also used as a viscosity reducer in oil extraction and transportation.
