First Aid MeasuresBack to Contents
【Ingestion】

Do NOT induce vomiting. If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid immediately.
【Inhalation】

Get medical aid immediately. Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. DO NOT use mouth-to-mouth respiration. If breathing has ceased apply artificial respiration using oxygen and a suitable mechanical device such as a bag and a mask.
【Skin】

Get medical aid immediately. Immediately flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse. Destroy contaminated shoes.
【Eyes】

Get medical aid immediately. Do NOT allow victim to rub or keep eyes closed. Extensive irrigation is required (at least 30 minutes).
Handling and StorageBack to Contents
【Storage】

Keep away from heat, sparks, and flame. Keep away from sources of ignition. Store in a tightly closed container. Keep from contact with oxidizing materials. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances. Corrosives area. Store protected from moisture. Do not store in copper or copper alloy storage vessels.
【Handling】

Wash thoroughly after handling. Use only in a well ventilated area. Empty containers retain product residue, (liquid and/or vapor), and can be dangerous. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid contact with heat, sparks and flame. Do not get on skin or in eyes. Do not ingest or inhale. Discard contaminated shoes. Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind, or expose empty containers to heat, sparks or open flames.
Hazards IdentificationBack to Contents
【Inhalation】

Causes respiratory tract irritation. May cause burns to the respiratory tract.
【Skin】

Harmful if absorbed through the skin. Causes severe skin irritation and possible burns.
【Eyes】

Causes severe eye irritation and possible burns.
【Ingestion】

Harmful if swallowed. May cause burns to the digestive tract. Ingestion may cause weakness, ataxia, diarrhea, and unconsciousness.

Exposure Controls/Personal ProtectionBack to Contents
【Personal Protection】

Eyes: Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles as described by OSHA's eye and face protection regulations in 29 CFR 1910.133 or European Standard EN166. Skin: Wear appropriate protective gloves to prevent skin exposure. Rubber and plastic gloves should not be relied upon to prevent skin contact. Clothing: Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin exposure.
【Respirators】

A respiratory protection program that meets OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.134 and ANSI Z88.2 requirements or European Standard EN 149 must be followed whenever workplace conditions warrant a respirator's use.
【Exposure Effects】

Laboratory experiments have resulted in mutagenic effects.

【Fire Fighting】

Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. Water runoff can cause environmental damage. Dike and collect water used to fight fire. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool. Water may be ineffective. Material is lighter than water and a fire may be spread by the use of water. Combustible Liquid. Extinguishing media: This material is lighter than water and insoluble in water. The fire could easily be spread by the use of water in an area where the water cannot be contained. Do NOT get water inside containers. Cool containers with flooding quantities of water until well after fire is out. In case of fire use water spray, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
【Upper exp. limit】

6.6
【Lower exp. limit】

1.1
【Fire Potential】

Flammable. Combustion with moderate heating.
Accidental Release MeasuresBack to Contents
【Small spills/leaks】

Absorb spill with inert material, (e.g., dry sand or earth), then place into a chemical waste container. Avoid runoff into storm sewers and ditches which lead to waterways. Clean up spills immediately, using the appropriate protective equipment. Use water spray to disperse the gas/vapor. Remove all sources of ignition. Provide ventilation. Stop leak only if you can do so without risk.
Stability and ReactivityBack to Contents
【Incompatibilities】

Strong oxidizing agents, acids, strong bases, chloroformates, acid chlorides, moisture.
【Stability】

Volatile in steam.
【Decomposition】

Nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen.
【Combustion Products】

Irritating vapors are generated when heated
