Description：Guangxitoxin 1E是一种Kv2.1和Kv2.2通道阻滞剂多肽，是由36个氨基酸组成的环状多肽，序列中含有三对二硫键，IC50值为1-3nM。Guangxitoxin 1E在体外增强人胰岛的葡萄糖刺激胰岛素分泌，但不增强缺乏 Kv2.1通道的胰岛细胞的胰岛素分泌。Guangxitoxin 1E对小鼠的血浆胰岛素、胰高血糖素或血糖水平没有显着影响，但会增加血浆生长抑素水平。
Guangxitoxin 1E is a Kv2.1 and Kv2.2 channel blocker peptide composed of 36 amino acids, with three pairs of disulfide bonds in its sequence and an IC50 value of 1-3nM. Guangxitoxin 1E enhances glucose stimulated insulin secretion in human pancreatic islets in vitro, but does not enhance insulin secretion in pancreatic islet cells lacking Kv2.1 channels. Guangxitoxin 1E has no significant effect on the plasma insulin, glucagon or blood sugar levels of mice, but will increase the plasma somatostatin level.
