Yield:79-29-8 8% ,75-83-2 6.7%

Reaction Conditions:

with hydrogen at 215; under 7500.75 Torr;Catalytic behavior;Kinetics;Flow reactor;Overall yield = 62.1 %;Reagent/catalyst;Temperature;

Steps:

2.3. Kinetic analysis
The conversions and yields of branched hexane isomers andlower molecular weight by-products were also analyzed underprocess-like conditions. These catalytic tests were performed usinga stainless-steel gas flow tubular PID Eng&Tech Microactivity - Ref-erence reactor at a pressure of 10 bar with a H2to hexane molarratio of 6 and amount of catalyst equal to 2.5 g (5 ml) with a flowrate corresponding to WHSV 0.7 h-1and GHSV 638 h-1. The tem-perature was controlled by an internal thermocouple and kept atthe desired temperature in the range 200-215C. Liquid n-hexanewas continuously loaded by a Gilson 307 pressure pump and evap-orated in the hot flow of hydrogen gas. The reaction productswere analyzed using an on-line connected Perkin Elmer Clarus580 gas chromatograph equipped with CP-Sil Pona CB column(100 m × 0.25 mm × 0.5 m) and a FID detector.
