解説
メチルアルソン酸.亜ヒ酸ナトリウムとクロロメタンとを反応させると得られる.分解点130 ℃.水和物は白色の結晶.融点113~116 ℃.pK1 3.61,pK2 8.25.水,エタノールに可溶,エーテルに不溶.塩化水素と二酸化硫黄を作用させるとジクロロ(メチル)アルシンを与える.金属イオンの沈殿剤,ワタ畑,芝生,非農耕地用除草剤として用いられる.LD50 700 mg/kg(ラット,経口).

有機合成用。

A strong acid. Incompatible with
caustics, ammonia, amines, amides, organic anhydrides,
isocyanates, vinyl acetate, alkylene oxides, epichlorohydrin.
May not be compatible with nitrates. Moisture may cause
hydrolysis or other forms of decomposition. Attacks metals
in the presence of moisture
