It is also used in the preparation of oximes and hydroxy acids in organic synthesis. In addition, it is used as a catalyst, swelling agent, copolymerisation inhibitor, antioxidant, vulcanisation accelerator, free radical scavenger, anti-skinning agent, corrosion inhibitor, detergent and additive. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, agricultural, rubber, plastic and chemical industries. | | Preparation | Hydroxylamine Hcl is prepared from nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, acetone and chlorine.
