PEBULATE(1114-71-2) is a thiocarbamate. Flammable gases are generated by the combination of thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamates with aldehydes, nitrides, and hydrides. Thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamates are incompatible with acids, peroxides, and acid halides. | [Air & Water Reactions]

Pebulate is a thiocarbamate herbicide
used for pre-emergence control of germinating seeds of
broadleaf and grassy weeds in sugar beets, tobacco,
and tomatoes. There are no registered residential uses

If this chemical gets into the eyes, remove any
contact lenses at once and irrigate immediately for at least
15 minutes, occasionally lifting upper and lower lids. Seek
medical attention immediately. If this chemical contacts
the skin, remove contaminated clothing and wash immediately
with soap and water. Seek medical attention immediately.
If this chemical has been inhaled, remove from
exposure, begin rescue breathing (using universal precautions)
if breathing has stopped, and CPR if heart action
has stopped. Transfer promptly to a medical facility.
When this chemical has been swallowed, get medical
attention. If victim is conscious and able to swallow, have
victim drink 4－8 ounces of water. Do not induce vomiting.
