14.2 The second step: the preparation of (3-((4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl)phenyl)methanamine

The raw material 3-((4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl)benzonitrile (1.50 g, 6.97 mmol, 1.0 eq) was dissolved in methanol (25 mL), and ammonia water (4.55 mL) was added successively at 25°C. g, 36.4 mmol, 5 mL, 28% purity, 5.2 eq) and Raney nickel (597 mg), the reaction solution was replaced with nitrogen three times, hydrogen replaced three times, and then stirred at 25°C under hydrogen atmosphere (15 Psi) for 1 h. TLC (DCM:MeOH=10:1) detected the completion of the reaction, filtered, washed the filter cake with methanol, and concentrated the filtrate to obtain the target compound (1.30 g, 85.1%). used directly in the next step.
